What an incredible discovery in the Holy Land! During a Christmas family trip to Israel, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her kids—joined by Grandpa, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee—explored ancient caves near Shiloh with expert archaeologists.
The highlight? Scarlett, George, and William used metal detectors and found five 2,000-year-old coins, possibly from the Bar Kokhba Revolt era when Jews fought for freedom in God’s promised land.

The excited kids shouted, “Grandpa, look what we found!” as they uncovered the treasures buried for centuries.
Dr. Dvir Raviv, the archaeologist leading the tour, said the kids loved digging, crawling through cracks, and making the find. In one cave, they also spotted a second-century jar fragment—proof these spots sheltered refugees long ago.
The family visited Ancient Shiloh, the biblical site of the Tabernacle. Ambassador Huckabee called it a reminder that “miracles can happen, 3,000 years ago and today.”
Governor Sanders shared with Fox News: “Watching my kids hold coins buried for over 2,000 years was unforgettable.”
Head of Benjamin Regional Council and Yesha Council Chairman Israel Gantz said, “We were happy to host Ambassador Huckabee and his family members once again at Benjamin’s archaeological sites, the place where heritage comes to life.”
The tour was initiated by political consultant and Y-Israel project founder Ruti Lieberman, who said, “When Ambassador Huckabee’s grandchildren asked to participate in an archaeological dig, they didn’t know they would discover rare and moving findings.”
“This tour is one in a long series of tours whose purpose is to bring political figures from the US and connect them to Judea and Samaria and all parts of Israel,” she said.

Sanders added that the Holy Land is foundational to Christian and Jewish faith—not just news, but living history.
What a faith-boosting moment for this pro-Israel family! God still reveals wonders in His land.
