Something amazing happened in Huntington Beach, California, over the weekend.
Over 7,750 people got baptized in one day! That’s the most baptisms ever in America for a single day. This big event was called “Baptize California,” and it was led by Pastor Mark Francey from Oceans Church.

So many people came—30,000 in total! They were from more than 300 different churches. People of all ages, like kids, parents, and even a 71-year-old grandma, got baptized in the ocean or in water troughs on the beach.
Famous Christian singers like Sean Feucht, Cody Carnes, and Kari Jobe led worship.
Pastor Mark told the crowd, “You helped make the biggest baptism in America’s history!”
This wasn’t the first time California had a big baptism. Last year, 6,000 people got baptized at the same beach.
Now, Pastor Mark and others want to do it again, but bigger!

They’re planning “Baptize America” for June 8, to have baptisms in all 50 states.
Pastor Mark said, “If God can do it in California, He can do it anywhere!”
