The Bible App for Kids, created by YouVersion and OneHope, is celebrating 100 million installations.
YouVersion founder and CEO, Bobby Gruenewald, believes it’s important for entire families, not just adults, to regularly engage with God’s Word. The app was developed in 2013 for that purpose.
“We’re really encouraged to see millions of families around the world choose to turn to the Bible and learn about God together,” Gruenewald said.
The app’s Bible Adventure Curriculum is designed for kids ages two through kindergarten with original music, memory verses with motions, and small group guides. Each lesson includes a parent guide as well.
The Bible App for Kids lists these benefits:
The Bible App for Kids is available in 66 languages, with more than 85 percent of the downloads from outside the U.S.
“Through this Bible experience, we’re seeing children in every country fall in love with God’s Word,” Rob Hoskins, president of OneHope, said. “We’re passionate about equipping the global Church to engage the next generation with interactive stories from the Bible and help lay a foundation for future spiritual growth.”
