The “Little Jesus” movement has become a viral phenomenon, taking over TikTok and community hubs as people seek out small reminders of faith.
The simple premise has resonated with millions, centered around a single, undeniable truth: “Everyone needs a Little Jesus.”
The movement has gained serious momentum with high-profile believers, including reality TV star Kris Jenner.
“I have hundreds of them because I put them in every time I pack a suitcase,” Jenner shared in a viral clip on Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” noting she often pops them in her pocket so “Jesus will be with me.”
“It’s just a little symbolic thing that makes me really happy,” Jenner added, explaining how she shares the figures with her inner circle.
The trend reached a fever pitch during the Seattle Seahawks’ 2026 Super Bowl victory parade when General Manager John Schneider was seen tossing the figures into the crowd.
Schneider, a devout Catholic, used the victory to share his faith, handing out the figures as “seeds of faith” while celebrating with thousands of fans.
Many on my Facebook page said they caught a little Jesus thrown by Schneider.
Kathy Haywood said, “I purchased 100 of them and put them around town as I shop.”
“I love giving them out or leaving them in places where ever I go!” Heather Lee commented.
“I have a huge bag in my truck that I put around different places,” Cathy DeRusha said, “Like atms, gas pumps, shelves at stores, anywhere someone might find them.”
On TikTok, the hashtag #TinyJesus has garnered millions of views as users document their “scavenger hunts” and share stories of finding a figure at just the right time.
Erin Long and Emrie Trent, who have helped champion the movement, noted that while the figures are plastic, the impact is deeply spiritual.
“It was never about plastic; it was and still is about presence,” Long shared when discussing the movement’s growth since 2023.
“I’ve seen people’s faces completely light up when they hold the little Jesus,” one participant shared, noting it serves as a reminder of how good He truly is.
The beauty of the movement lies in its accessibility, as the figures are easily available in bulk on Amazon for anyone looking to become an ambassador of encouragement.
