An 11-year-old boy with Down syndrome reunited with his church buddy in a video that went viral online.
Erin Witkowski said her son, Grady, adores Liquid Church in Parsippany, N.J. and after a 15-month break due to COVID, he finally got to connect with his buddy, Katy Herridge.

“This folks is what making a seat at the table for everyone looks like,” Grady’s mother captioned the emotional moment. “Tears ran down to see this moment.”
It felt like a piece of heaven for all involved.
“Every child with special needs that goes there gets a buddy to be with them during children’s service,” Witkowski, a mother to four, told Fox News. “It gives them the opportunity to be with the other children, have a great time, worship and learn.”
She posted the video on her Instagram and many were moved to tears as Grady ran into the wide-open arms of his buddy in the church hallway.
