‘REVIVAL’: Thousands of Ohio State Students Turn to Jesus

Posted on February 27, 2025March 1, 2025 By Caleb Parke

Nearly 2,000 students decided to follow Jesus at a massive revival on Ohio State’s campus, according to event organizers.

Some braved freezing 20-degree temperatures to get baptized in the back of U-Haul trucks. In total, 6,500 students attended the gathering at The Schott sports arena in Columbus.

“Unite US” founder Tonya Prewett posted a video of students flooding the ailes of the stadium to go to the altar.

“I will never be over this sight,” she commented, “thousands of students giving Jesus their ‘yes,'” adding, “May we never take for granted how God is moving in this generation.”

It came one month after the Buckeyes football team won the national championship after a season that kicked off with a campus revival.

“We’ve been in awe of how God has already been moving on this campus over the past year, and He met us here again tonight,” the group “Unite US” said in a post on Instagram.

“God is moving in this generation, and we know that He’s just getting started!” the group added.

Evangelist Franklin Graham celebrated the revival on Facebook.

“This is great news!” he said in part. “I’m so thankful for each one who accepted Jesus Christ by faith and surrendered their life to Him! Pray for these young people and that revival will sweep across our nation.”

Unite US started outreach on campuses in 2023 and has impacted more than 70,000 students, according to the ministry.
