A massive wave of spiritual revival is sweeping through Florida college campuses, as thousands of students gathered to declare their faith in what organizers are calling a historic “move of God.”
More than 5,000 students packed the Addition Financial Arena at the University of Central Florida (UCF) for the first “Unite US” event of the year.

The evening, marked by worship, prayer, and the Word of God, saw a staggering 1,600 students make first-time decisions or rededications to follow Christ.
‘New Sense of Freedom’
As the night progressed, the arena floor turned into a scene of public testimony. Hundreds of students were baptized outside, symbolizing a fresh start for a generation often labeled as “lost.”

“You could feel the freedom in the air,” organizers said. “Students walked in carrying addiciton, anxiety, years of weight, and walked out different, clean, new.”
“God didn’t just move,” they added. “He changed a campus forever! And if this is a glimpse of what He’s doing on college campuses right now … we are only at the beginning.”

A State-Wide Awakening
The spiritual momentum isn’t contained to Orlando. Just an hour away in Lakeland, a similar fire has been ignited at Southeastern University (SEU).
During a scheduled three-day conference, what began as a standard gathering evolved into a continuous prayer movement. Following a heavy moment of public confession of sins, students have continued to encounter God in a movement that is reportedly “still going strong today” 145 hours later.
The ‘Next Generation’ Responds
Despite cultural narratives suggesting a decline in religious interest among Gen Z, the scenes at UCF and SEU suggest a different reality.
- 5,000+ students in attendance.
- 1,600 decisions for Christ.
- Hundreds of public baptisms.
Hailey Schelich posted a video from the event, saying, “Nothing will ever beat worshipping with 5,000+ people and praising the name of Jesus,” adding, “If you ever have the opportunity to go to a UNITE conference in your area, you need to go! Jesus was moving so much…”
“Who says the next generation has lost their way?” one attendee noted. “When you see thousands of students on their knees, you know God is doing something that can’t be ignored.”
