Rapper Cardi B lifted her hands in praise listening to a sanctified remix of her profanity-laced song, “Money.”
Koryn Hawthorne played the new song for the film “Praise This” streaming on Peacock.
Hawthorne, a 25-year-old Christian singer and “The Voice” finalist, posted footage of Cardi B reacting to the song in the studio.
“Cardi B approved this!” Hawthorne said. “My girl said she really felt the spirit.”

The rapper, who smiled from ear to ear lifted her hands up and danced to the beat. She told her, “I love it!” in another clip.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper worships “money” in the original song, but the remix flips it for “Jesus.”
Instead of being born to “flex,” the track declares, “I was born to praise.”
The movie follows a gospel praise team in a national competition with several remixes of pop and R&B hits.
