An Emmy-award-winning meteorologist in Mississippi prayed live on air as he reported on a deadly tornado approaching the town of Amory Friday night.
WTVA News chief meteorologist Laubhan simply said, “Oh man.”
Then the weatherman bent over and prayed a simple prayer.
“Dear Jesus, please help them,” he said.

The moment has gone viral on social media, garnering over 1.3 million views on Twitter.
The tornado reportedly killed 26 in its path.
Laubhan received support from other meteorologists.
“Great work. Nothing wrong with a little prayer. Love his honesty and composure,” Ericka Pino, a Univision meteorologist, tweeted.
