WATCH: GOP Representatives Worship in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda

“Let Us Worship” founder and singer-songwriter Sean Feucht led a group from the House of Representatives in worship inside the U.S. Capitol rotunda.

Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Michael Cloud (R-TX), Josh Brecheen (R-OK), Doug LaMalfa (R-CA), Tracey Mann (R-KS), Tim Burchett (R-TN), and Barry Moore (R-AL) joined Feucht’s late-night worship service Thursday.

“They were lifting their hands. They were on their knees. They were crying out for revival in America,” Feucht said. “We were all declaring revival is the only hope for the nation, and it’s amazing when we come to the place where God is our only option, and I think we’re there right now in America.”

The “Faithful to the End” singer called the Republican politicians “bold” for showing up.

“It was the beginning of, I believe, a new season where that kind of thing is going to begin to become normal — like worship times breaking out in Congress, worship and prayer breaking out in the Speaker’s office, happening in the Senate. I see a move of God that’s going to sweep through D.C. and sweep through the Capitol building, and I believe it began on Thursday night.”

It was a dream come true for Feucht, who prays it gives hope to Americans to see what God is going in the nation’s capital.

“D.C. can be a very divisive place. It can be polarizing, it’s a place not a lot of people have hope in, but yet God is moving,” he said. “I’ve never heard of a late-night worship and prayer gathering inside the rotunda of Congress…so I feel like these are incredible days.”

He explained they saw something God spoke to him about from Isaiah 43: 18, which states, “Behold, I’m making all things new. The old has gone; the new has come. Forget the former things. I’m making things new: a stream in the desert.”

Feucht pointed out the big difference now under House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) compared to under former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

“It’s amazing to me how different to me how amazing the atmosphere is now that the Capitol is not locked down. Pelosi had it totally locked down. They weren’t able to do this. And with this shift, this regime change in Speaker, it’s actually something spiritual has happened, too. I believe there’s an openness to God. There’s an openness to prayer, and I’m just so grateful and honored to be a part of what God is doing in this hour,” Feucht said.

“What a dream to bring worship in. The Bible is clear that when we lift Him up, when we praise His name, He’ll draw all men. He’ll be enthroned,” he added. “On Thursday night, He was enthroned as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords in the most powerful, important building in America…God took up residence. His presence was there. And we were all blown away by it.”
