One of Pizza Hut’s longest-working employees got the tip of a lifetime after decades of delivering pizzas with a positive attitude.
The community of Tipton, Indiana rallied around Robert Peters, who has been delivering great food and service for 31 years. They got him a brand new red Chevy Malibu this month.

“I couldn’t believe it, it’s almost like it’s surreal,” Robert told CBS News.
He calls delivering pizza and exact change in all kinds of weather conditions his life’s purpose to make people happy.
“You know, when you’re delivering to somebody, you may be the only face they see all day,” he told CBS.
Tanner Langley, 28, a regular customer who got the idea to replace Peters’ 1993 Oldsmobile, told “Good Morning America” the town calls him “Mr. Smiley.”
In just two days, the community far outpaced the $12,000 GoFundMe goal raising over $18,000 to pay for the new car, insurance, taxes, and gas money.

“You will be happy to know that he was all smiles when he received his new car, but that is no surprise to any of you since he is always smiling!” Tanner shared on social media.
“This was all made possible by the amazing people of our community,” Tanner said.
Celebrating Robert’s devoted customer service and his generous community, Evangelist Franklin Graham shared this Bible verse on Twitter:
